One of the things that became very clear early into the filming of What I LOVE about being QUEER was that there would be no way for this film, despite my best efforts (including the featuring of 34 queers from different ages, racial backgrounds, gender presentations and with differing politics), to be fully representative of the queer spectrum.

But there is also something exciting about this! To consider and embrace that the answers in the film are not exhaustive. That because our communities are so vast and complex, so are the ways in which we come to love. This was confirmed by the reaction of the participants who, after watching the film for the first time, often wanted to amend their answer - change it completely or add to it.
